As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Access Management in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and badge procedures. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting access-control concerns.
- Prepare clear, accurate incident and patrol reports and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
