Security Officer - Data Center - Driving Required

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the property, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine patrols throughout a property location, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns.

As a Security Officer - Data Center - Driving Required in Elk Grove Village, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine patrols throughout a property location, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the property, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, communicate professionally with authorized personnel, and help maintain orderly movement throughout the location.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
