Job Description: Security Officer

Location: SAN ANTONIO, TX, 78229

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, customers, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
• Investigate and report any suspicious behavior or incidents
• Respond to alarms and emergency situations
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Texas driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
• Previous security experience preferred
