SUMMARY Security Officers are assigned the task of insuring the safety and security of the property, including staff/employees, service delivery site employees, patients, visitors, vendors, etc. Security Officers report to and receive direction tasks fromthe Team Leader. RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain strong situational awareness and observation skills. Document activities at and around your assigned post with clear and concise written notes Gather and organize facts and other essential information Fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies in the investigation and prosecution of criminal activity occurring on your property. Focus your senses so as to provide the most effective security service possible. Serve your company, your clients, law enforcement, and the public using the highest standards of personal and professional conduct. Must carry out the orders and instructions given to them by the Team Leader. Keep the Team Leader informed if activities and unusual or significant events. Establish and maintain good rapport with peers and other AnMed Personnel. QUALIFICATIONS High school graduate or GED and valid state drivers licenseis required Excellent communication, reading, writing, grammar, critical thinking and basic comprehension skills required. Ability to maintain composure, use good judgment and make sound decisions in emergency and stressful situations Ability to identify with the problems and emotions of other people who are under stress.
