What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of mall common areas, parking areas, entrances, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, documenting incidents and notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by providing directions, answering questions, and supporting security-related operations during special events, peak traffic periods, and/or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
