As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Three Year Experience in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government transit environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate professionally with passengers, employees, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at transit facilities and surrounding areas.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, administrative locations, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate public agencies and site personnel as needed.
• Monitor access points, observe passenger and vehicle activity, and help support orderly movement throughout assigned transit locations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities while following applicable laws, company procedures, and firearms policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess 3+ years of experience as a military police officer, corrections officer, armed guard, or certified law enforcement graduate.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Baton Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
