As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Unit in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government services location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders for an armed patrol assignment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, public lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, employee, and/or contractor activity in accordance with site policies.
- Prepare clear reports on incidents, patrol activities, and/or unusual conditions, and communicate with local staff and law enforcement when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- Possess 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
