As a Security Officer Armed Driver Credential Community in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will manage entry points, verify authorized access, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify visitor authorization, maintain accurate visitor and vehicle records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, gatehouse locations, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Maintain clear, detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, access exceptions, and communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
