As a Security Officer Access Control in Plainview, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to residents, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for residents, guests, vendors, and delivery personnel, and maintain accurate visitor and access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with residents, property staff, and emergency responders, and prepare clear reports of incidents and unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
