    Description

    Access Control Security Officer

    Schedule: Tuesday to Friday 8am-4pm

    Payrate: $17.00

    Job Duties:

    • Communicate professionally with employees, customers, vendors and visitors
    • Patrol premises on foot and/or in Securitas Vehicle regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
    • Assist with enforcing company policies and Site-specific security procedures
    • Monitor facility entrances, exits, perimeter and designated Security areas.
    • Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
    • Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
    • Responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior, preventing vandalism, or other criminal behavior.

    Requirements:

    • Must possess of a Valid Driver's License with a clean MVR
    • Valid SORA license or willing to obtain
    • Required to work effectively under variable weather conditions
    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy at all times
    • Must be able to remain calm, focused, and productive in fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to communicate clearly in person, by phone and/or radio
    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
    • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
    • Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Must be reliable, self-motivated, and flexible
    • Expected to work Weekends and Holidays
    • Fluent in English language (reading, writing and speaking)
