Security Installation Technician

OVERVIEW

Express is seeking dependable Electrical & Security Systems Technician with 2–3 years of electrical experience and prior security/alarm system experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and committed to quality workmanship and safety.

Responsibilities include installing, testing, troubleshooting, programming, and servicing electrical and security systems. Candidates must be comfortable working in various field environments, and willing to travel as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, mount, test, troubleshoot, and service electrical, security, and alarm systems.
• Read and interpret electrical prints, schematics, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Program and test security and alarm systems.
• Complete accurate job documentation, paperwork, and system testing records.
• Provide professional customer service and work effectively with customers, team members, and other trades.
• Travel to job sites, including occasional overnight out-of-town assignments.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, dependability, and professional workmanship.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2–3 years of electrical experience with prior security/alarm system experience.
• Security/alarm programming experience preferred.
• Ability to read electrical prints, schematics, specifications, and codes.
• Strong computer, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a team.
• Able to work in hot and cold conditions and travel, including overnight stays.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
