Job Purpose & Scope

Contributes to the overall security and safety of the Bank's employees and protection of assets by monitoring and coordinating incident response, conducting comprehensive investigations, and maintaining objectivity, impartiality, confidentiality, and fairness throughout the investigative process.

Essential Job Functions

• Manages threats/incidents of violence or wrongdoing against the Bank's employees and interests.

• Conducts investigations and provides guidance to cross-functional teams throughout the organization.

• Partners with internal stakeholders to implement corrective action necessary to prevent future occurrences to mitigate potential threats and minimize risks.

• Escalates threats/issues as necessary to law enforcement and other internal and external resources.

• Identifies security gaps and opportunities and develops appropriate mitigation recommendations and plans from a multidisciplinary perspective.

• Conducts security awareness training for Bank employees.

• Works with operations and front-line employees to protect customer information and prevent loss.

• Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in the performance of essential job functions.

• Maintains good punctuality and attendance to work.

• Follows Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines.

• Knowledge of incident responses and investigations techniques to effectively manage events.
• Knowledge of banking laws and regulations.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, business, or related field, or commensurate work experience, required.
• 5+ years of work experience conducting investigations, conducting risk assessments, and/or managing complex threat cases, required.
• Certification in a relevant discipline i.e., Professional Certified Investigator (PCI), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), preferred.
• Must be able to submit to a post offer criminal background check which will include finger printing prior to employment with the Bank.
