As a Security Guard Full Time Day Shift College Campus Patrol in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist students, staff, and visitors with professionalism. You will report security-related concerns, respond to situations as needed, and use clear communication and customer service skills. Pay Rate: $21.35 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, classrooms, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the educational location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and daily documentation accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
