Event staffing provider located in Baltimore, MD has an immediate temporary opportunity for an experienced, licensed Event Security Guard
Summary:
Seeking licensed Event Security Guards to help create a safe and welcoming environment for guests, staff, vendors, and performers.
Assignments at sporting events, concerts, festivals, and major venues at various locations throughout Maryland.
Job Type: Temporary, on-call, event-based.
Schedule: Evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.
Responsibilities:
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas.
Conduct access control by checking tickets, credentials, and identification.
Perform bag inspections and entry screening when required.
Assist with crowd management before, during, and after events.
Patrol assigned areas and identify potential safety concerns.
Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with directions and information.
Complete accurate incident reports and communicate with supervisors.
Enforce venue rules and security procedures while maintaining professionalism.
Requirements:
Active Maryland Security Guard Certification (Guard Card).
At least 18 years of age.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions when required.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Reliable transportation to event locations.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience in event security, venue security, or crowd management.
Customer service experience.
Military, law enforcement, or public safety experience.
CPR/First Aid certification.
