As a Security Officer Dispatch Coordinator in Morrisville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, manage access control and badge processes, and support response efforts for security-related concerns. Your visible presence and customer-focused communication will help to deter incidents while delivering a welcoming experience. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor incoming calls, alarms, and communications; accurately document incidents, requests, and relevant details in dispatch logs and reporting systems.
• Dispatch appropriate personnel and/or resources in response to incidents, service requests, and critical situations, maintaining calm, professional communication throughout the response.
• Coordinate with onsite teams, building operations, and emergency responders as directed, providing timely updates and supporting incident escalation procedures.
• Monitor access control, camera, and alarm-related systems as assigned; report unusual activity and help support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
