Title: Security Engineer – Data Protection & Email Security

We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security controls that protect enterprise systems and sensitive data. This hands-on role focuses on data protection, email security, cloud security, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls across enterprise, endpoint, email, and cloud environments.
- Configure and maintain security policies, rules, and controls based on business and regulatory requirements.
- Identify security risks and vulnerabilities and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Administer enterprise email security, including Google Workspace/Gmail and Secure Email Gateways.
- Manage and optimize security and data protection controls within AWS environments.
- Implement and support data classification, sensitivity labeling, and DLP initiatives.
- Manage and tune DLP policies across endpoints, email, cloud platforms, and other data channels.
- Troubleshoot endpoint security and DLP issues across Windows and macOS environments.
- Support the deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of security technologies.
- Assist with security audits, assessments, control validation, and documentation.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in IT, Security Engineering, Cybersecurity Operations, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience implementing enterprise security and data protection controls.
- Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP), data classification, and sensitivity labeling.
- Experience with enterprise email security and Secure Email Gateways; Google Workspace/Gmail preferred.
- Experience troubleshooting endpoint security across Windows and macOS.
- Hands-on AWS security experience, including IAM, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, or related services.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
