Sagewood is recruiting for a hospitality focused Director of Security to join our team! The Director of Security is responsible for ensuring that the highest level of safety, security and service standards are maintained at all times to protect the residents, employees, and visitors, as well as the assets of our community. All duties are performed in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and local ordinances.

This position is Monday thru Friday with some weekend and evenings as needed.

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Director of Security:

• Oversees the overall efficiency and function of the security department''s core priorities and is the point of contact for safety concerns, ensuring that the E-Call procedures and documentation are adhered to consistently.
• Leads and manages a 24 hour security team
• Enusres gate security/screening processes and procedures are strictly adhered to.
• Communicates closely with the Associate Administrator to ensure Security goals are being achieved.
• Ensures that day to day assignments and procedures are being adhered to and delegated accordingly to the Security Supervisor, such as patrolling of the buildings and responding to emergency situations.
• Monitors and controls parking on campus as well as access to buildings and grounds by residents, staff, vendors and visitors

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• High School Diploma
• AZ Guard Certification, CPR and First Aid certification required
• AZ Fingerprint required.
• EMT certification highly desired.
• Minimum of 5 years security and supervisory leadership experience is required.
• Senior living and hospitality experience highly desired.
