    Security Cooperation Policy Analyst

    As a Security Cooperation Policy Analyst, you’ll bring your deep understanding of U.S. defense export processes and U.S. Air Force (USAF) security cooperation policy expertise to work on projects for the Department of the Air Force (DAF). You’ll review, compile, and coordinate congressional notification (CN) packages, assess the execution of financed export programs, facilitate policy alignment for USAF training, and ensure compliance with governing legislation, policy, and interagency guidance. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes, and the broader mission of enabling international defense partnerships through properly executed security cooperation activities.

    You’ll guide the work we do for the DAF and the solutions we deliver for the development, implementation, and oversight of USAF security cooperation programs.

    You Have:

    • 5+ years of experience in security cooperation

    • Knowledge of U.S. Air Force roles and missions, foreign military sales (FMS), the Security Assistance Management Manual, and the Air Force International Affairs role in the security cooperation community

    • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively across the civilian and military spectrum from the action officer to the general officer or senior executive level

    • Secret clearance 

    • Bachelor's degree

    Nice If You Have:

    • Experience with international training and education, congressional notifications, and end use monitoring (EUM)

    • Knowledge of FMS processes, legislation, regulations, and stakeholders

    • Ability to work independently with little supervision

    • TS/SCI clearance 

    • Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs or a related field

    • Completion of Defense Security Cooperation University (DSCU) Security Cooperation Courses

    Clearance:
    Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;Secret clearance is required.

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
