    Job Title: Security Architect
    Duration: 12+ Months
    Location: 100% Remote

    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Security Architect to support enterprise security engineering with a primary focus on Cribl data modeling and log pipeline ingestion. The role will support the design, implementation, integration, and continuous improvement of security platforms across a large enterprise environment.

    Required Skills

    • Strong experience with Cribl data modeling, pipelines, and log ingestion.

    • Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture and engineering principles.

    • Experience with enterprise security platforms including SIEM, XDR, Vulnerability Management, DLP, and endpoint security.

    • Experience developing automation and integrations using Python and Bash.

    • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, threat detection, and defensive security strategies.

    • Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems, including hardening and security configuration.

    • Understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and secure system design.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, implement, and maintain Cribl data models and log ingestion pipelines.

    • Support planning, deployment, and operational management of enterprise security platforms.

    • Assist with SIEM implementation, configuration, monitoring, analysis, and reporting.

    • Support Linux-based security sensor and endpoint monitoring deployments.

    • Assist with XDR, vulnerability management, DLP, and security awareness platforms.

    • Collaborate with security architects and engineering teams on enterprise security solutions.

    • Design and implement security controls and countermeasures for known and emerging threats.

    • Validate security control effectiveness and recommend improvements.

    • Support incident detection and response through monitoring, log analysis, and reporting.

    • Develop technical documentation, implementation guides, and standard operating procedures.

    • Support security automation and integrations using scripting and other technical solutions.

    • Perform additional security engineering and architecture duties as assigned.

    Preferred Skills

    • Hands-on Cribl data modeling experience.

    • Hands-on SIEM administration, analysis, and reporting experience.

    • Experience deploying Linux-based security sensors.

    • Familiarity with NIST CSF, CJIS, IRS 1075, and CMS MARS-E frameworks and compliance standards.

    Required Education & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or related field.

    • 8 years of relevant work experience; experience may substitute for education.

    • 5 years of experience supporting large IT environments and/or system deployments.

    Preferred Certifications

    • CISSP

    • Security+
