Job Title: Security Architect – Consultant (13606)
Location: Columbia, SC 29201Remote
Candidate Location: Must reside in the United States
Duration: 12 Months
Interview: 1 Round – Virtual/Online

Daily Duties / Responsibilities

• Develop cloud architecture and lead technical discussions related to security, privacy, and compliance.
• Support migration of on-premise applications and services to Microsoft Azure.
• Lead Azure cloud administration and engineering activities.
• Support cloud infrastructure, networking, security, monitoring, and operational activities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor architects and engineering staff.
• Stay current with Microsoft Azure and other cloud-platform technologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Microsoft Azure / Microsoft Cloud Platform experience, including:
  • Cloud Security
  • Firewalls
  • Azure Key Vault
  • Azure Service Bus
  • Azure Site Recovery (ASR)
  • Azure Networking
  • Operations Management Suite (OMS)
  • Blob Storage
  • Resource Groups
  • Network Security Groups (NSG)
  • Application Insights
  • SQL Server and SQL DB
  • Load Balancers
• 5+ years of AWS Cloud Platform experience, including:
  • AWS Cloud
  • Cloud Architecture
  • AWS Administration
  • Resource Allocation
  • Cloud Security
  • Network Connectivity

Required Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of equivalent professional experience may be substituted for formal education.

Required Certification
Candidate must have a relevant Microsoft Azure certification, including one of the following:

• Azure Administrator
• Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
• Identity and Access Administrator Associate
• Security Operations Analyst
• Security Administrator

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating on-premise solutions to cloud environments.
• Experience supporting operational hybrid cloud environments.
