- 3 years or more of hands-on network security, network design, implementation, or infrastructure support experience
- Proficiency in secure network architecture, routing, switching, enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, network monitoring
- Experience with SIEM and vulnerability platforms including Splunk, QRadar, Nessus, Qualys
- Experience with Windows, macOS, Linux, network auditing, log analysis, security alerts, network telemetry
- Experience with cloud security, AWS, Azure, NIST, FISMA RMF, HIPAA, CMS ARC-AMPE
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Monitor and investigate network security alerts, traffic anomalies, threats, and suspicious activity
- Assess firewall, connectivity, infrastructure, and network changes for cybersecurity risks
- Analyze on-premises and cloud environments for vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate controls
- Review firewall configurations, rulesets, ports, protocols, services, and access requests
- Support network security engineering, compliance initiatives, security controls, and infrastructure enhancements
- Produce security metrics, trend reports, risk findings, and technical recommendations for stakeholders
