Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Security Analyst (Advanced) to support a large Florida government organization. This individual will assist with Microsoft 365 security administration, endpoint management, security policy implementation, vulnerability remediation, and end-user security technologies. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Microsoft security tools, Intune, Office 365, and endpoint administration.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and enroll Windows, macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and Android devices using Microsoft Intune.
  • Package, deploy, and maintain Win32, Line-of-Business (LOB), and Microsoft Store applications.
  • Configure and manage Windows Update for Business deployment rings and feature updates.
  • Create and deploy Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels for document classification and encryption.
  • Configure trainable classifiers, Exact Data Match (EDM), and Sensitive Information Types.
  • Evaluate Microsoft 365 licensing (E3, E5, Business Premium) and recommend secure implementations.
  • Develop and maintain endpoint security policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Research, implement, and support Microsoft security tools and technologies.
  • Inventory software assets, remediate software vulnerabilities, and deploy software updates.
  • Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to internal IT staff regarding security technologies and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT experience.
  • Strong background in systems architecture, software development, database management, and systems integration.
  • Extensive experience administering Microsoft 365 and Office 365 environments.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint device management.
  • Strong desktop support experience for Microsoft products.
  • Experience with Microsoft security technologies including:
    • Intune
    • BitLocker
    • Microsoft Purview
    • Windows Update for Business
  • Experience managing endpoint software deployment and vulnerability remediation.

Schedule

  • Monday Friday
  • 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • 40 hours per week
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for implementations or emergency support.
