Secretary, ELL Compliance Manager (Multilingual Dept) **2026-2027 School Year**

KLEIN INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT 7200 Spring-Cypress Road, Klein, Texas 77379 JOB DESCRIPTION Position : Multilingual Compliance Manager Secretary Pay Grade: CP4 Duty Days: 195 Salary: KISD Current Staff Compensation Plan Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Effective verbal and written communication skills, Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Special Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of FERPA regulations Excellent technology skills Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Duties include but are not limited to the following: Attend all departmental meetings to extend professional capacity Collaborate with registrars on new student registration process to ensure that all students are assessed for possible language program participation Assist with setting up and administering language proficiency tests and other assessments as required Review new and returning students' cumulative folders to identify students eligible for a language program or monitoring Assist Compliance Manager with student electronic data and coding in Skyward and ELLevation Reconcile information in Skyward and ELLevation with Multilingual folders as requested Ensure Multilingual folders have the state-required LPAC documents and signatures Run data audits between Skyward & ELLevation to ensure data entry accuracy between the programs and work with compliance teams to ensure data entry accuracy Assist in the auditing of all campus Multilingual or cumulative folders Assist with retrieval of Texas records from previous Texas school districts Establish rapport, foster collegiality, and promote a positive, caring attitude among district staff Share responsibility for ensuring the confidentiality of student Multilingual folders Leading from our values including integrity, gratitude, humility and kindness Perform all other duties as assigned by the Director and/or Compliance Officer of Multilingual Services Work Conditions: Maintain emotional control under stress 8-Hour Work Day (exclusive of lunch) Assignment to multiple campuses on a rotating schedule; limited in-district travel Reports to the Instructional Officer for Multilingual Programs
