PGS Worldwide is seeking Secret-Cleared Program Planning & Scheduling Analysts in Melbourne, Florida for an approximately 14-month onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. These positions will develop and maintain integrated program plans and schedules, perform critical-path and schedule-risk analysis, and support Earned Value Management activities across complex aerospace and defense programs.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; OR master’s degree with 3+ years; OR associate degree with 7+ years; OR high school diploma/GED with 9+ years of relevant experience.
- Relevant experience may include business, finance, accounting, program control, program planning, scheduling, or similar fields.
- Experience with program planning and scheduling.
- Experience developing or maintaining integrated program schedules.
- Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
- Experience performing schedule analysis, including critical-path and network-logic evaluation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
- Ability to coordinate schedules across functions including Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, Materials, and Quality.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Active U.S. government Secret clearance required to start.
- Ability to obtain required program access.
Preferred Skills
- Aerospace or defense industry experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Project experience.
- Experience working in a Microsoft Project Server environment.
- Deltek Cobra experience.
- Deltek Acumen Risk experience.
- Knowledge of DCMA schedule health metrics.
- Experience managing complex program schedules.
- Excel Macro/VBA experience.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare, develop, and coordinate integrated master plans and integrated master schedules.
- Ensure program schedules are integrated across functional organizations.
- Track program plans, milestones, and schedule performance.
- Perform schedule-risk analysis.
- Identify and resolve critical-path and network-logic conflicts.
- Develop and maintain Gantt charts, PERT charts, milestone charts, and other scheduling tools.
- Apply Earned Value Management techniques to evaluate program progress.
- Identify schedule and performance variances.
- Support program teams in focusing attention on critical schedule risks and problem areas.
- Coordinate schedule inputs from Finance, Engineering, Materials, Manufacturing, Quality, and other program functions.
- Maintain accurate planning and scheduling documentation.
Work Schedule / Shift
- Full-time onsite in Melbourne, Florida.
- Approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM ET.
- 9/80A work schedule.
