PGS Worldwide is seeking Secret-Cleared C++ Software Engineers in Santa Fe Springs, California for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. These positions will support the full software development lifecycle for real-time military and commercial systems, including design, development, integration, test, and maintenance.
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Active U.S. Government Secret clearance required to start.
Strong C++ software development experience.
Experience developing, testing, and integrating real-time software applications.
Experience developing on Linux, VxWorks, or other real-time operating systems.
Experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, or Python.
Experience troubleshooting complex software and system-integration issues.
U.S. citizenship required.
Experience with C, C#, Java, or related programming languages.
Experience working with physical hardware, test benches, or simulators in a lab environment.
Agile/Scrum software development experience.
Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, static code analysis, automated builds, and automated testing.
Experience with Git and GitLab.
Experience developing with CUDA for NVIDIA GPU acceleration.
Support software development from requirements and design through integration and test.
Develop and maintain real-time applications in C++.
Work with systems engineers to develop solutions that meet operational and end-user requirements.
Integrate software with complex hardware and system environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve software and system-integration issues.
Support new and legacy software throughout the product lifecycle.
Develop scripts and automation supporting software development and testing.
Participate in Agile development and continuous-integration activities.
$94.86 per hour.
