PGS Worldwide is seeking a Secret-Cleared Buyer / Procurement Analyst in Lexington, Kentucky for an approximately six-month onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This entry-level position will support purchasing, supplier coordination, data tracking, and procurement administration.
Active DoD Secret clearance required.
1+ year of experience with data entry, procurement support, purchasing, supply chain, or a related administrative function.
Experience creating and maintaining Microsoft Excel worksheets.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when entering and tracking procurement data.
Ability to review and maintain purchasing, supplier, pricing, and delivery records.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
Ability to work onsite in Lexington, Kentucky.
Experience supporting purchasing or procurement activities.
Experience working with suppliers or vendor records.
Familiarity with purchase orders, RFPs, bid packages, or supplier quotations.
Experience analyzing pricing or supplier information.
Support sourcing and purchasing of materials, parts, equipment, services, and supplies.
Maintain procurement and supplier data in Excel and internal tracking systems.
Review supplier proposals, pricing, and delivery information.
Assist with supplier selection and purchasing decisions.
Follow up on open purchase orders and supplier delivery commitments.
Track price trends, supplier performance, and manufacturing information.
Help verify deliveries and maintain procurement records.
Support preparation of requests for proposal and bid packages.
Assist with payment approval and documentation.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve purchasing issues.
