Position Summary: The Secondary Special Education Teacher of Students with Disabilities provides specialized instruction and support to ensure students with disabilities access the general education curriculum and make meaningful academic and behavioral progress. This role includes co-teaching in general education settings and/or delivering instruction in self-contained classrooms, serving as a case manager, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and collaborating with educators, administrators, and related service providers. The teacher works to create inclusive, supportive learning environments while upholding district policies, state and federal regulations, and the district's instructional goals.

Terms of Employment: Ten-month (10) full-time employee.

Evaluation: Performance will be evaluated annually according to the Board's policy on professional personnel evaluation.
