POSITION: SECONDARY SPANISH TEACHER

POSITION: Secondary Spanish Teacher (Grades 8-12)

REPORTS TO: Building Principal

Start Date: August 2026

Work Year: Contract length determined by Master Agreement

Job Type: Full-time (1.0 FTE)

The Laingsburg Community School District serves the city of Laingsburg as well as several surrounding townships-a vibrant rural area of mid-Michigan. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate (FF-Spanish)
• Additional areas of certification for scheduling flexibility, preferred
• Knowledge of and commitment to the use of best practices as supported by research.
• Establish effective relationships with students and model respect for and acceptance of all persons in the school setting.
• Collaborate with parents, community, and staff members.
• Maintain professional ethics and responsibilities, including participation in the total school program, curriculum development, and building committees.

SALARY BENEFITS:

As specified in the LEA Master Agreement. Laingsburg Community Schools honors up to 15 years of teaching experience on the salary schedule.
