    Description

    As the Associate Manager, Secondary Markets Trade In, you will help shape and execute Best Buy's end-to-end Trade In strategy by driving operational excellence, financial performance and customer-focused innovation. In this role, you'll manage key business metrics, forecasting, promotional initiatives, third-party vendor relationships and process improvements that support product recovery and lifecycle management. You'll partner across the enterprise to identify opportunities, solve complex business challenges and influence strategic decisions through data-driven insights. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a growing business while collaborating with teams across Supply Chain, Category Management, Marketing, Finance and Operations.

    This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work on site Monday through Thursday at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. You can work virtually from home or another non Best Buy location on Friday. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

    What you'll do

    • Manage Trade In forecasts, financial metrics and KPI performance.
    • Lead relationships with third-party vendors and operational partners.
    • Develop business insights and recommendations through data analysis and reporting.
    • Drive process improvements that increase efficiency and operational effectiveness.
    • Partner cross-functionally to execute strategic initiatives and support business growth.

    Basic qualifications

    • 2+ years of experience in Retail, Inventory Management, Merchandising, Supply Chain or a related field.
    • 2+ years of project, program or order management experience.
    • Intermediate proficiency with PowerPoint
    • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering measurable results.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all organizational levels.

    Preferred qualifications

    • Experience in a large, consumer-focused retail organization.
    • Background in supply chain, category management, resale, consulting or enterprise transformation.
    • Strong financial acumen, including forecasting and business performance analysis.
    • Experience developing operational processes, standard operating procedures and business strategies.
    • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and make sound decisions under pressure.
