Second Shift Sanitation SUPERVISOR

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Manage first, and third sanitation teams while guiding the Sanitation Supervisor including hiring, training and development, performance management, setting weekly schedules, managing timecards and planning team workload.
2. Develop a sound understanding of among all sanitation shifts of GMPs, SQF, HACCP, and OSHA.  Maintain SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures) for all processes / equipment, ensuring they are in compliance.
3. As new equipment is acquired and/or processes changed, develop and/or update SSOP’s to comply with GMPs, HACCP, OSHA and SQF.
4. Ensure that all workers on sanitation teams are trained and adhere to the company’s GMPs
5. Ensure that all workers on sanitation teams are trained and adhere to the company’s HACCP and other food safety procedures
6. Support and conduct New Employee Training
7. Provide knowledge of Chemical mixes and MSDS, and oversee team member’s use of chemicals and proper safety procedures.
8. Manage Sanitation chemical inventory
9. Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skill

• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience in foodservice and/or manufacturing strongly desired
• 3-5 Years of experience in supervisory role
• Strong Math Skills
• Able to read and speak English
• Ability to delegate and work alongside team members
• Good Interpersonal Skills

 Physical Demands

• Able to lift 50-75 pounds repeatedly during an entire hour shift
• Comfortable standing, lifting and bending for duration of an entire shift
• Comfortable with repetitive motion
• Standing for long periods of time
• Walking the production floor for long periods of time
