What Your Day Looks Like

• Start at 5:30 AM by clocking in through our ERP, reviewing each cart of chairs, and studying the work orders for the day.
• Choose the correct fixtures for every job and verify dimensions with precise measurements before striking the first arc.
• Weld chair components using MIG (primary) and TIG (as needed) on steel, stainless, aluminum, or alloy tubing.
• For every new order, produce one first-off chair and complete a Buddy Check according to company procedures.
• Finish each order accurately and on schedule, updating work order steps in the ERP as you go.
• Perform preventative maintenance on weld equipment to keep machines production-ready.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area that meets company standards.
• Wrap up by closing out tasks in the ERP and preparing your station for the next shift.

What You Bring

• Welding certificate preferred.
• Proven ability to weld C-25 MIG thin metal tubing with no weld splatter using a Miller matic 251 machines.
• Hands-on experience with common shop tools (drills, grinders, and more).
• Comfort with basic ERP functions: clocking in/out and simple work order transactions.
• Spot-on measuring skills, strong dependability, and a proactive, go-getter approach.

Schedule & Pay

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM–1:30 PM (overtime to 3:30 PM) with some Saturdays as needed.
• Pay: $19–$23.50 per hour.
• Location: Grand Rapids, MI.
