Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Seat Design Release Engineer (DRE) with automotive seating design expertise and strong CATIA V6 skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and release automotive seating components including back frames, cushion frames, foam, trim, plastic, and metal parts.
• Develop seating system requirements for cars and SUVs.
• Perform feasibility, packaging, and design studies.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams on vehicle development and build milestones.
• Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes and plastic/metal tooling.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of automotive seating component experience.
• Strong CATIA V6 experience.
• Experience with seating design, manufacturing technologies, and tooling.
