Title: Design Release Engineer (DRE) Electrical Components
Location: Bay Area, California
Job Description:
Seeking a Design Release Engineer (DRE) with experience in automotive/EV electrical components. The engineer will be responsible for component design, development, integration, validation, and production release. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams and suppliers to ensure components meet technical, quality, cost, and timing requirements.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Design Release Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Component Engineering, or Product Development.
- Experience in automotive/EV electrical component development and production release.
- Experience working with automotive OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.
- Strong experience with supplier coordination, engineering changes, validation, and production launch.
