What We Offer
This is an on-call position, which means it is a part-time, hourly role. This position will work no more than 39 hours per week. The starting pay for this position is $20.06/hour and is eligible to enroll in the City and County of Denvers 457b retirement plan. This position is not eligible for other additional benefits. On-call positions may have routine or variable work schedules.
Location
This position will be based out of the Rosedale Maintenance Facility at 2375 S. Logan Street in Denver but will be working hands-on in the field approximately 80% of the time. The work schedule will be Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. MST.
What Youll Do
This is a seasonal position that will work no more than 39 hours per week and is not eligible for benefits.
Denver Parks and Recreation is seeking a Seasonal Water Conservation Utility Worker to support Denver Parks Water Conservation Program and play an important role in maintaining Denvers extensive system of urban parks that are essential to the communitys well-being. This individual will learn and practice a variety of irrigation maintenance and repair skills, landscaping and lake maintenance skills, providing them with a strong foundation to make upward moves within the Parks and Recreation department.
