Seasonal Warehouse Worker

Impact Workforce Solutions is hiring Seasonal Warehouse Workers to support the True Value Distribution Center in Kingman, AZ. Warehouse Workers perform a variety of distribution activities involving receiving, sorting, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and managing the flow of merchandise throughout the distribution center.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload merchandise from trailers and verify received goods against purchase orders or invoices.
• Stack and load cartons and containers for outbound shipments.
• Stock shelves with incoming merchandise.
• Maintain and verify receiving and shipping records.
• Safely operate material-handling equipment to move merchandise.
• Use small hand tools, pallet handlers, and hand trucks.
• Pick products for shipment using computerized store orders and accurately match inventory to order numbers.
• Prepare merchandise for shipment using shrink-wrap machines and other equipment.
• Use mobile handheld or hands-free RF scanning devices to scan and track materials.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and productivity expectations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 0-1 years of experience; warehouse, distribution, supply chain, fulfillment, or similar experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and maintain accurate counts.
• Commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to meet quality and productivity standards.
• Reliable and punctual attendance.
• Ability and willingness to be trained and certified to operate material-handling equipment.
• Ability to work required overtime.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, physically demanding warehouse position. Employees must be able to stand and walk for 8 or more hours per day, including approximately 5-10 miles of walking. The role requires frequent/repetitive lifting and lowering of 20-50 lbs. and occasional lifting and lowering of 50-85 lbs.

Employees must also be able to balance, climb stairs, crouch, bend, twist, kneel, pull, push, reach, sit, and stoop. The position requires sufficient physical mobility, agility, endurance, visual acuity, and ability to grasp, hold, type, and turn objects with the hands and fingers.

Work Environment

Work is performed in a distribution warehouse and may involve exposure to heat, cold, indoor/outdoor conditions, and chemicals routinely present in warehouse facilities. Required PPE may include safety shoes and safety vests/Hi-Viz clothing. Extended hours, overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays may be required based on operational needs.
