We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Operation Christmas Child team in Boone, NC. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan''s Purse are to help people in Jesus'' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In the role of Warehouse Associate, you will have the opportunity to:
Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
Work side by side with employees and volunteers to take the love of Jesus to children all around the world
Play an integral part in the processing of over 12 million shoebox gifts
Welcome, equip, and coach thousands of volunteers to process OCC shoebox gifts
Other duties as assigned
What are the qualifications?
Serve with Excellence
As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:
Able to lift and/or move 50 lbs. (consistently over a 7-8 hour shift if a dock worker)
Must be a team player
Inventory and pallet jack experience
Familiarity with trucking and/or container inventory requirements
Familiarity with barcode scanning
