Position Overview

C5 Texas is seeking a responsible, experienced, and mission-driven Driver to support our 2026 Road to College (RTC) Tour. This week-long tour takes high school Leaders across multiple Texas cities to visit college campuses and explore postsecondary pathways.

The Driver will be responsible for safely transporting staff and Leaders in a 12-passenger van to each city, campus, hotel, and scheduled activity throughout the tour.

This position requires professionalism, patience, flexibility, and comfort working in an environment with minors.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 12-passenger van for multi-city travel

• Transport Leaders and staff to colleges, hotels, restaurants, and scheduled activities

• Ensure adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations

• Conduct basic daily vehicle safety checks

• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle throughout the tour

• Assist with loading/unloading luggage when needed

• Follow tour schedule and communicate effectively with program staff

• Maintain professionalism and appropriate boundaries with minors at all times

Requirements

• Valid U.S. Driver’s License

• Clean driving record (no major violations)

• Comfortable driving long distances and a 12-passenger van

• Must pass criminal, drug and sexual abuse background check

• Experience working around minors

• Ability to commit to full tour dates (June 10–17, 2026)

• Reliable, punctual, and calm under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience driving large passenger vehicles

• Experience working in youth development, education, camps, or similar environments

• CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Strong communication skills

• Flexible and team-oriented mindset
