Seasonal Store Manager

Summary of Position

The Store Manager is responsible for developing Burton pop-up store in North Conway, NH, according to Burtons Retail standards. Scope of tasks include staff hiring, training and development, customer service in a 360-degree matter, organizing and optimizing store stock & assortments, and follow VM standards. Reporting directly to the NA Retail Manager. The role is expected to contribute substantially to developing Burton's DTC department, the store and its staff to archive a consumer centric environment to become the Retailer of the future.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Create business strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic, and enhance profitability
• Recruit staff, as needed
• Train, mentor, and develp staff on a frequent basis
• Monitor inventory management
• Give guidance on In-store Marketing and align with Burtons Marketing strategies
• Provide reporting on store results
• Manage store budget
• Net Sales Planning
• Act on Burton Product Warranty cases according to Burtons warranty process
• Be a brand ambassador for the Burton brand
• Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of Retail experience or equivalent experience in the field of sporting goods & fashion, ideally in a managerial role.
• Excellent people managing skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Open-minded, and agile team player
• Hands-on mentality with a proactive work attitude
• Conflict management skills
• Significant experience in customer service
• Great time management skills
