Job Summary: The Sales Associate will be primarily responsible for guiding customers’ experience with the UPS Store through every interaction. In addition to opening/closing duties, Sales Associate will be responsible for educating customers on UPS Store services and delivering those services with the highest level of customer service. We have a part-time position available. Computer and point-of-sale experience would be helpful.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of:
- Basic procedures for shipping mail and packages
- Fundamental accounting, banking, cash management practices
Skills in:
- Email applications: communication & management
Ability to:
- Communicate and spark rapport with customers of diverse backgrounds
- Learn and retain information quickly
- Cross sell and upsell additional services
- Address issues and resolve conflicts through professional verbal/written communication
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50+lbs
- Must be able to remain standing for extended periods of time
- Valid U.S. identification and reliable transportation
- U.S. Citizenship
- Professional appearance
