Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace is seeking friendly, dependable, and enthusiastic Seasonal Clerks to help our stores deliver exceptional food and customer service during our busy holiday season. Seasonal opportunities may be available in Bakery, Seafood, Deli, Grocery, Kitchen, Candy, Espresso/Barista, Catering, Meat, Cashier and Porter/Cleaning. Team members will be hired into a designated department based on their experience, interests, and store needs.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide friendly, attentive service and assist customers with product questions and requests.
- Support daily operations within your assigned department, helping the team manage increased seasonal business.
- Prepare, package, weigh, label, and display products as required by your role.
- Stock shelves, replenish displays, and rotate products to maintain freshness and availability.
- Assist with customer orders, holiday orders, and catering pickups as applicable.
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked work areas.
- Follow company procedures for food safety, sanitation, equipment use, and workplace safety.
- Work closely with department managers and fellow team members to complete daily tasks efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Department Responsibilities May Include
- Bakery: Package baked goods, replenish displays, and assist customers with bakery orders.
- Seafood: Package and display seafood, assist with orders, and maintain department cleanliness.
- Deli: Prepare customer orders, package deli products, and assist with platters and prepared items.
- Grocery: Unpack deliveries, stock and organize shelves, rotate merchandise, and help customers locate products.
- Kitchen: Assist with ingredient preparation, portioning, plating, packaging, and kitchen cleanup.
- Candy: Package candy and specialty treats, replenish displays, and assist with seasonal gift selections.
- Espresso/Barista: Prepare coffee and espresso beverages, take orders, and keep service areas clean and stocked.
- Catering: Assist with order preparation, packaging, organization, and customer pickups.
- Meat: Package, label, and stock meat products and support department service and sanitation.
- Porter/Cleaning: Clean floors, restrooms, and common areas; remove trash; and replenish cleaning supplies.

- Ability to perform the essential duties of the assigned role, with or without reasonable accommodation, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting or moving products and supplies.
