Seasonal Skilled Bus Mechanic - Transportation Department
SCSD2 is seeking a positive, motivated, and knowledgeable skilled bus mechanic for the 2026 Summer.
This temporary position will assist during our summer months for 20 hrs. per week (June 15 - August 7).
HOURLY WAGE: $19.08 - Annual increase of $0.50/year for seasonal staff that return year to year (without a break in season) up to year 5.
QUALIFICATIONS:
REPORTS TO: Lead Mechanic and Transportation Director
JOB GOALS: To keep the district's buses in such as state of operating excellence that they present no problems or interruptions to the educational program.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Employment relationship with the District is at will.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation.
