    Job Type: Full-Time

    Shift: Nights 6pm-6am

    Position Summary

    Are you a dependable, safety-driven professional with a strong work ethic? We are seeking a skilled Seabulk Operator to join our team. In this critical role, you will oversee the safe, efficient, and consistent transfer of materials from railcars (hopper cars) to our storage silos.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Material Transfer: Safely and efficiently operate transfer equipment to load material from railcars into storage silos in strict accordance with equipment manuals, operating procedures, and supervisor directives.

    • Rail Yard Safety: Correctly deploy and monitor rail yard safety equipment, including blue flag signs and wheel chocks.

    • Hose & Connection Handling: Connect and disconnect heavy cargo hoses to facilitate material flow.

    • Facility Support: Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work area. Perform general labor, basic routine maintenance, and cleaning tasks across assigned facility zones.

    • Quality & Compliance: Execute all tasks in compliance with the site Quality Manual, client operational procedures, and OSHA regulations.

    Qualifications & RequirementsSkills & Knowledge
    • Technical Aptitude: Must pass the client General Knowledge Exam for transferring equipment upon hire.

    • Independence: Strong ability to complete tasks accurately with minimal or no direct supervision.

    • Basic Math & Communication: Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English; proficient in basic calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).

    Physical & Environmental Expectations
    • Physical Strength & Agility: Able to lift up to 55 lbs, kneel and work in kneeling positions for short durations, and climb stairs without fear of heights.

    • Weather Adaptability: Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying, sometimes extreme, weather conditions.

    Reliability & Availability
    • Strict Punctuality: Always arrive on time and ready to work at least 5 minutes prior to shift start.

    • Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work outside standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs demand.

    • Full commitment to wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
