    Description

    SDR Manager

Location: Nashville, TN. Downtown office, in-office every day (no hybrid).

    About the opportunity

Our client is a fast-growing R&D tax credit consultancy helping US businesses capture federal and state research incentives with audit-ready documentation. They are opening a brand-new downtown Nashville office and hiring its first SDR team, with the first cohort starting mid-November. This is the leader who builds that floor from day one.

    The role

As SDR Manager, you will lead a new pod of SDRs running a high-volume outbound motion, primarily cold calling on a parallel dialer, booking qualified meetings with founders, CEOs, and CFOs. This is a people-management seat with no personal sales quota. You are measured on team performance.

    What you'll do

    • Lead, coach, and hold accountable a new team of SDRs, in person in Nashville every day
    • Own team results against a monthly qualified-meetings-attended target per rep, through a structured ramp over the first 90 days
    • Run the daily floor rhythm for a high-activity cold-calling team (parallel dialer, high daily dial volume)
    • Coach call quality, objection handling, and consistency, and manage a range of personalities on a young team
    • Partner with sales leadership on metrics, training, and building the Nashville office culture
    • Start ahead of the first SDR cohort (at least two weeks before the mid-November start) to help set up the floor

    What we're looking for

    • Several years of hands-on people management of cold-calling / outbound SDR or BDR teams. Not a first-time or newly promoted manager
    • Started your career as an SDR, so you have credibility on the floor
    • Experience in a high-volume, transactional sales motion
    • Ideally experience in both a large, structured sales organization and a smaller or startup environment
    • Servant leader with high emotional intelligence who balances accountability with support
    • Competitive background and grit (athletics or similar is a plus)
    • Industry background not required. Function matters more than product
    • Based in Nashville or relocating, and ready to be in the office every day

    Compensation & benefits

Competitive base plus quarterly commission tied to team results. Structure discussed on qualified calls only.
