For a national retail enterprise, we are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile software delivery teams in driving collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement. This individual will help facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove delivery obstacles, and coach team members and stakeholders on Agile best practices.

The role also involves leveraging modern collaboration and AI-assisted productivity tools to enhance workflow efficiency and team communication. The ideal candidate will leverage Jira AI and Copilot tools to streamline workflows, improve transparency, and enhance team productivity. Key Responsibilities Agile Team Facilitation
  • Serve as Scrum Master for one or more cross-functional Agile teams, ensuring effective application of Scrum principles and practices.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Support iteration and quarterly planning efforts by helping teams identify dependencies, align priorities, and prepare for successful execution.
Agile Coaching & Team Development
  • Coach team members, product stakeholders, and leadership on Agile methodologies and servant leadership principles.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Guide teams in identifying and implementing process improvements through retrospectives and ongoing feedback loops.
Tools & Process Optimization
  • Support Agile workflow management using Jira or similar project management platforms.
  • Utilize AI-enabled collaboration tools to assist with reporting, meeting summaries, documentation, and communication efficiencies.
  • Help maintain organized backlogs, sprint tracking, and delivery visibility.
Delivery Metrics & Reporting
  • Monitor and communicate key Agile delivery metrics such as sprint velocity, cycle time, predictability, and defect trends.
  • Maintain dashboards and reporting artifacts to provide transparency into team progress, blockers, risks, and dependencies.
  • Partner with leadership to support data-driven decision making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure backlog readiness and alignment to business priorities.
  • Coordinate across teams to identify risks, manage dependencies, and support successful delivery outcomes.
SDLC & DevOps Awareness
  • Encourage Agile delivery practices that align with CI/CD and DevOps principles.
  • Promote quality-focused development practices, including clear definitions of done, testing strategies, and continuous improvement throughout the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile delivery professional supporting software development or product teams.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum frameworks, and software delivery best practices.
  • Experience working as a scrum master for a retail business 
  • Experience using Jira or comparable Agile project management tools.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted productivity or collaboration tools is a plus. (such as Jira AI and Copilot)
  • Knowledge of SDLC processes and exposure to DevOps or CI/CD environments preferred.
  • Scrum certifications such as CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent are preferred.
