We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating Agile practices, ensuring the team adheres to Scrum principles, and fostering a collaborative environment that promotes continuous improvement. As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in guiding the team through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) while ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
Duties
Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies to ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.
Coach team members on Agile methodologies and best practices to enhance their understanding and execution of the Scrum framework.
Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritise and manage the product backlog, ensuring clarity of user stories and acceptance criteria.
Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) by coordinating efforts between development teams and stakeholders to validate product functionality.
Identify and resolve impediments that may hinder the team's progress, fostering an environment of transparency and trust.
Utilize project management tools to track progress, report on metrics, and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
Negotiate timelines and deliverables with stakeholders while maintaining alignment with project goals.
Promote adherence to Agile principles across the organization by providing training and support as needed.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within an Agile environment.
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies such as SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and experience with project management practices.
Familiarity with SQL for data analysis related to project performance metrics is preferred.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on team empowerment and motivation.
Strong negotiation skills to facilitate discussions between stakeholders and team members.
Understanding of user acceptance testing processes within software development projects.
Relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) are advantageous.
