Akkodis is seeking a Scrum Master for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX. This role requires strong hands\u2011on experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments to be fully considered for the position.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $46/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Scrum Master job responsibilities include:
Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies\u2014including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand\u2011ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives\u2014to ensure productive and timely execution.
Proactively identify, track, and remove impediments to maintain steady team progress and minimize delivery risks.
Coach teams on Agile/Scrum principles, fostering continuous improvement and helping the team deliver high\u2011quality software at a sustainable pace.
Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize backlogs, ensuring clear user stories and alignment with business goals.
Monitor Agile metrics (velocity, burn\u2011down charts) and maintain Jira/ADO dashboards to provide accurate visibility into team performance.
Support cross\u2011team coordination and participate in scaled Agile activities such as PI Planning when needed.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
8\u201310 years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting Agile software development teams.
Strong ability to lead Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and coach teams on Agile/Scrum principles.
Proven experience working with Jira/ADO and collaborating with Product Owners to manage and refine product backlogs.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $46.00 per hour
