Scrum Master
The scope of the proposed services will include the following:
Key Responsibilities
The duties of a Scrum Master include, but are not limited to:
- Guide teams and organizations using Agile/Scrum best practices, methodologies, and values.
- Assess the Scrum maturity of the team and organization and coach the team toward higher levels of maturity at a sustainable and comfortable pace.
- Remove impediments or guide the team in removing impediments.
- Facilitate the completion of work assignments without assigning or dictating individual work assignments.
- Facilitate discussions, decision-making, team building, and conflict resolution.
- Assist with internal and external communication, improve transparency, and facilitate information radiating.
- Support Product Managers in maximizing return on investment (ROI) and achieving organizational objectives.
- Support and educate the Product Owner, including grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
- Engage in Agile delivery using appropriate Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP, etc.
- Provide support to the team using a servant-leadership style whenever possible and lead by example.
Mandatory Qualifications
- 5+ years of Scrum Master experience.
- Scrum Master certification.
- Experience with Change Management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience identifying and developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure program performance.
- Experience with Agile tracking tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps.
- Experience creating and maintaining:
- Product timelines
- Status reports
- Communication plans
- Other product-management-related documentation.
***Lumen and / or its clients will not provide equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.) to the selected contractor. The contractor must have their own equipment. Access to a virtual desktop set up (software) will be provided by Lumen s client, allowing the user access to the required systems and technology.***
