Scrum Lead

Required Skills and Experience: 8+ years of experience in Agile delivery, with a strong track record as a Scrum Master, Lead Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead. Key Responsibilities: Lead and facilitate Scrum and Kanban ceremonies, including daily stand ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives.

Overview: We are looking for a seasoned Scrum Lead to guide and coach Agile teams, with strong hands-on AI experience. This person will own the delivery rhythm for a Kanban based team, set clear boundaries, manage dependencies across teams, and communicate confidently with senior stakeholders.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate Scrum and Kanban ceremonies, including daily stand ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives.
• Act as the primary Scrum leader for the team, coaching team members and product owners on Agile principles and best practices.
• Create and maintain clear boundaries for the team and stakeholders, protecting the team's focus and managing scope, priorities and working agreements.
• Run regular dependency checks, identify risks and blockers early, and coordinate with other teams to resolve them before they impact delivery.
• Manage and optimize Kanban flow, including work in progress limits, cycle time and throughput metrics.
• Use AI tools and AI driven approaches to improve planning, reporting, backlog quality and team productivity.
• Partner closely with product owners, engineering leads and business stakeholders to keep priorities aligned and delivery on track.
• Track and report on team progress, velocity and delivery health with clear, timely updates to leadership.
• Remove impediments, resolve conflicts and build a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

 
Required Skills and Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in Agile delivery, with a strong track record as a Scrum Master, Lead Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead.
• Proven experience leading Scrum teams end to end and working with Kanban teams.
• Strong, hands-on AI experience, such as using AI or GenAI tools in delivery or supporting AI focused projects. This is a must.
• Demonstrated ability to set boundaries with stakeholders and manage scope and expectations.
• Strong experience with dependency management across multiple teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with comfort engaging senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar Agile tools.

 
Nice to Have:

• Certifications such as CSM, PSM or SAFe.
• Experience coaching multiple teams or mentoring other Scrum Masters.
• Experience with enterprise or large client environments.
