Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable Machine Operator / Screw Machine Operator to join a manufacturing team in Tulsa. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring screw machines to produce quality parts while maintaining production schedules, safety standards, and equipment efficiency.
This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy working with machinery and are looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing.
Required Experience & Skills
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is preferred but not required
Ability to read measuring tools and follow written work instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts
Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate and monitor screw machine production throughout the shift
Load raw materials into machines and perform basic machine adjustments as needed
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality specifications and production standards
Monitor machine performance and report equipment issues to supervisors or maintenance personnel
Maintain production output while following established work instructions and schedules
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing policies
Assist with additional production and machine operation duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience operating screw machines or similar manufacturing equipment
Experience using calipers, micrometers, or other precision measuring tools
Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality inspection procedures
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and repetitive hand movements throughout the shift
Ability to safely work around production machinery while wearing required PPE
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment for extended periods
Work Environment
