Are you experienced in screen and window repair/replacement and are looking for a flexible, 30–40 hour per week position?
Nyberg's ACE is seeking a seasonal, experienced Screen & Window Repair Technician to handle the repair and replacement of screens, windows, and related components. This is a temporary, independent contractor (1099) role with consistent hours during peak season.
What You’ll Do:
Repair and replace window screens, frames, mesh, and full window units
Build new screens and repair existing screen frames
Perform minor window repairs, including hardware and functionality fixes
Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately
Communicate clearly with customers about repair and replacement needs
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in screen and window repair/replacement, screen frame repair, and new screen building
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
30–40 hours/week during peak season (working hours are to be within the store's open hours)
No guarantee of work beyond the peak season; continued opportunities depend on business needs and the manager's discretion.
Compensation:
1099 independent contractor position
75/25 split (technician receives 75%)
